Surviving The Nut House

I'm slowly working through the 700+ book list that I have going right now. My main problem is the covers of some of these books. If a cover catches my eye I will put it on my 'to read' book list and that one just keeps growing and growing.

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment - Steve Harvey I enjoyed this book simply because it gave me some insight into the relationship that I have with my boyfriend. I had thought that since the book was by Steve Harvey that it would be full of jokes and one liners but I was pleasantly surprised that the book focused more on giving advice than having that joke. The advice that was given is good for women who are just starting relationships and for women who have been in relationships for awhile. I really enjoyed the fact that Steve even gave advice that opened my eyes even more to how wonderful my relationship is. So it wasn't just a book about advice for when you're starting a relationship but also when you're in a relationship for awhile. I agree with some of the other reviewers that this book is geared more towards the older generations but for me I enjoy that. Both me and my boyfriend are old school and I believe that this book helped me have a little more insight to him and how he works. Especially with his emotions and feelings and how he won't share them with me like I want him to but if he does I'll be more than happy to sit and talk with him.
